Public notice awarded by the Municipality of Milan
 
Milan, May 15 2019 – The co-planning for the social activities in the former boarding school of the Trotter park has been assigned to the ATI The Olinda factory. The temporary association of companies that won the public notice from the Municipality of Milan is made up of La factory di Olinda soc. coop. social ONLUS (parent company), the social cooperative company, training service centre, Comin coop. soc. of solidarity, the cultural association for social promotion Salumeria del design and the cultural association Ludwig workshop of contemporary languages.
 
The co-planning must have a duration of 3 months (extendable by another two) starting from the convocation of the first round table and the project will be implemented thanks to a contribution of up to 1 million 300 thousand euros from Lacittàintorno of the Cariplo Foundation and the co-financing of the ATI. The duration of the agreement will be 15 years, with an annual contribution of 30 thousand euros in favor of the Municipality of Milan, starting from the fifth year of management.
 
The evaluation of the proposals received, from which the co-planning will start, was based on qualitative elements of social, environmental and economic impact. In particular, based on the degree of integration between the services offered and the territory, of inclusion of different experiences with disadvantaged people, of economic accessibility, of integration between generations and cultures. Also evaluated were the innovative ways of engaging the local community, the intensity and quality of activities aimed at education and training, job creation and work inclusion, energy efficiency and the production and use of organic and short supply chain products.
 
The public notice was born from the collaboration between the Municipality of Milan and the Cariplo Foundation, in the framework of the intersectoral program of the "Lacittàintorno" Foundation, and will lead to the creation of the first 'PuntoCom' (Community Point) within the former boarding school. : a space of 2.630 square meters dedicated to social integration, work inclusion, professional training and cultural growth.
