Street art. In Municipio 3 the first mural of the “One planet one future” project

The mural will be a combination of classic graffiti from the 90s and the artist's distinctive symbols, including the hourglass and the skull. In the central part there will be space for a giant planet, surrounded by leaves and other symbols of his art, while at the bottom there will be Greco-Roman sculptures and animal skulls, to reflect on the archeology that will leave our civilization.

“Keeping high attention on environmental issues through street art, even more so at a time like this when it is the youngest who are clamoring for it, is fundamental – comments the President of the City Council Lamberto Bertolè –. Leaving signs like this in the city means making everyone responsible, starting from the little ones who together with the schools will visit the murals, on the necessary respect for nature and the planet, making them fully aware that our actions today will affect the world that we will leave to future generations."

“Milan is the first large city to declare an environmental emergency – adds the artist Anne de Carbuccia –: a declaration that has not only a symbolic but also a concrete importance, because it is the first real step to take in order to begin to intervene."

"We are very happy that the mural is being created in a street and place of great visibility, near the Lambrate station - continues the Councilor for Culture of Municipality 3 Luca Costamagna -. It is an educational and civic awareness tool that conveys a strong and important message."

The objective of the various murals, which will be painted on the key themes of the “One planet one future” project (water, plastic and rubbish, animals and cultures at risk) by a group of 'Graffiti artists', with whom Anne de Carbuccia is collaborating , is to spread awareness about the climate emergency and the threats that man creates for the environment, using the universal language of art.
