Milan, May 24 2021 – The commemoration ceremony of the Capaci massacre took place on Sunday 23 May at 17pm, promoted by the "Libera" association, by the Coordination of Milanese Schools for Legality and Active Citizenship and by the Center for the Promotion of Legality of Milan “LegalizzaMi ”, on the occasion of the 29th anniversary.

In the presence of the President of the City Council Lamberto Bertolé and Lucilla Andreucci of "Libera" Milano, students, together with citizens, gathered at the Falcone and Borsellino Gardens in via Benedetto Marcello to remember the mafia massacre in which, on the 23rd May 1992 at 17 pm, in addition to judge Falcone, his wife Francesca Morvillo and the escort agents Vito Schifani, Rocco Dicillo and Antonio Montinaro died.

To remember their sacrifice, there were also the interventions of some students from Milanese high schools with readings and reflections, joined by those of President Bertolé, after having laid flowers at the commemorative plaque dedicated to Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, symbolic men of the fight against the mafia.
