Stadium. The Municipality writes to the clubs to ask for additions to the feasibility study
Milan, 10 December 2020 – The Municipality of Milan has sent the football clubs AC Milan and FC Internazionale a letter regarding the feasibility project for the new stadium at San Siro, in which it requests some clarifications and further insights.
We start from the need, as provided for by Presidential Decree 231/07, to be able to access the documentation certifying the possession of the participation requirements of the proposing parties and the actual ownership of the shares of the proposing companies. A topic on which the Municipality's Procurement Department has asked companies for further information for some time and which, more recently, has also been requested by the Municipal Council.
Among the points included in the letter, there is also the request for appropriate clarifications regarding the quantity and quality of the spaces that will remain for public use (green areas, pedestrian areas, squares, services).
Clarifications are also requested on the entertainment functions to be agreed with the Municipality of Milan and additions are requested regarding the assessments that support the economic-financial plan.
The municipal administration is now awaiting the requested explanations, in the hope of receiving feedback quickly and being able to proceed with the examination of the proposal.
