On May 18th and 25th two weekends of tennis for girls and boys aged 8 to 12. At the end of the event, the winner of Roland Garros will select a young man or woman from Milan to support with a scholarship for training

Milan, May 15 2019 – “You can, try it” is the project born from the collaboration between the champion Francesca Schiavone and the Municipality of Milan: for two weekends all children in Milan and its province between the ages of 8 and 12 will have the opportunity to play tennis on four courts managed by Milanosport. At the end of the fourth day Francesca will choose a girl or boy who will be given a two-year scholarship to support the family and support training.

The event will be held on Saturday 18 May, from 15pm to 19pm, at the Saini center and Sunday 19 May, from 9am to 13pm, at the Cambini Fossati sports centre; on Saturday 25 May, from 15pm to 19pm, we will return to play at the Lido and on Sunday 26 May, from 9am to 13pm, at Washington.

The level is not important. Even those who don't have a racket will have the opportunity to try for free, thanks to the sponsors - the technical ones Babolat and Sergio Tacchini, fundamental for the scholarship, to which Levissima is added as a partner of the event: they will guarantee the supply of the material and the economic coverage to allow the selected girl or boy to carry out the activity in the tennis club closest to her home, concretely helping her family.
