The structures in via Feltrinelli, Brivio and Cilea are points of reference, aggregation and sociality for the neighbourhoods
Milan, May 29 2019 – The notices for the concession of use of three municipally owned sports facilities located in peripheral areas of the city have been published on the municipal administration website. This is the field set up for archery in via Carlo Feltrinelli 12 and the sports facilities in via Brivio 1 and in via Cilea 61.
“The objective – declares Roberta Guaineri, Councilor for Sport – is to redevelop and keep these structures active as garrisons in popular and multi-ethnic social contexts such as those in the peripheral areas. Sports facilities, in fact, are extraordinary vehicles of socialisation, inclusion and social integration as opposed to phenomena of discomfort".
The grass field in Via Feltrinelli, measuring 14.956 mXNUMX, with a canopy to cover the athletes, has been a peculiarity for years as it is the only sports facility in the Municipality of Milan present in the city area where it is possible to practice archery, a point of reference for people of all ages and in particular for the very young and disabled people.
The facility in via Brivio, covering a surface area of 5.839 m99, is made up of a gym for basketball and volleyball with a 5-seat grandstand, a gym for gymnastics on the first floor, changing rooms and services in the basement, a platform for unlit concrete basketball, an unlit concrete volleyball platform and a lit five-a-side synthetic grass football pitch. The structure plays an important role in promoting sport in the city area and in particular in Municipality 8, among the most populous in the city, and as a social center and attractive and aggregative center for young people in the area.
The plant in via Cilea, on an area of approximately 14.400 m7, is made up of a masonry building, two prefabricated buildings and four containers for changing room use and related service rooms; a 11-a-side synthetic grass football pitch, illuminated and uncovered; an 90-a-side natural grass football pitch, not lit; and a 8-seat prefabricated steel grandstand. This facility has also always been a point of reference for the promotion of sport and for the socialization of local citizens in Municipality XNUMX.
For all the plants in question, the assignment will take place according to the criterion of the most economically advantageous offer and the effective duration of the concession, starting from a minimum of 6 years, will be calculated based on the investments that the best proposer will undertake to make.
