Milan, June 5 2023 – The sixth edition of the Charity derby is underway, the charity match to be held on Wednesday 7 June at the San Siro stadium organized by the non-profit sports association "In campo con il cuore", which has been donating and installing defibrillators since 2014 life saver in the city of Milan and train on the importance of cardio-protection. An event that allows you to do good, making the dream of any football lover come true: that of playing a match under the floodlights of the Meazza.
The selection of players takes place through a charity auction campaign available on Charity Stars, the official partner of the event. There will be thirty lucky players, coming from all over the world, to take to the field in the "Scala del calcio" (11 starters and 4 reserves for each team): they will wear the colors of the two historic Milanese teams, experiencing the heart-pounding emotions of match day , like true professionals. Furthermore, the teams will be led by two exceptional technical commissioners, as well as old glories of Italian football: Angelo Carbone, who will lead the Rossoneri team, and Evaristo Beccalossi, who will lead the Nerazzurri team.
The initiative is also promoted by the President of the Municipal Council, Elena Buscemi, who also has the role of honorary President of the association, and has the patronage of CONI Lombardia.

Gianfranco Fasan, President of In campo con il cuore, declared: "The Charity derby is now a unique event in Italy which allows us to promote our initiatives of donation and diffusion of the defibrillator as a life-saving tool. We have players from all over Europe and demonstrates how sport is a universal language and can be a vehicle for important social messages such as the promotion of first aid culture. Last but not least, there is the charm of playing in a global football monument."
The funds raised with the Charity derby 2023 will support the donation of defibrillators for the sections of the Milan traffic police and a remote-controlled defibrillator for the Trenno Park, for the protection of citizens and visitors.
On the pitch with my heart
In campo con il cuore is an association that since 2014 has been working to raise awareness among young people, athletes and citizens about the importance of knowing cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers and the diffusion of the defibrillator as a life-saving tool, through the organization of sporting events. It boasts the Honorary Presidency of the President of the Milan City Council with whom it collaborates and has donated over 35 defibrillators placed in various schools, museums, parks, town halls and law enforcement offices. The network of AEDs installed by the association has already made it possible to save 3 lives of citizens suffering from cardiac arrest.
