Milan, May 16 2022 – A new neighborhood desk dedicated to registry services, where citizens will be able to request certificates and make an appointment to go to the registry office in via Larga or in the decentralized offices.

The ribbon cutting was held this morning, in the presence of representatives of the municipal and municipal administration, at the MM Casa headquarters in Piazzetta Capuana, in the Quarto Oggiaro district.

During the morning there was also a moment of orientation open to residents on the services provided, by a registry officer of the Municipality of Milan, managers and employees of MM SpA.

The desk is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9am to 12pm and from 14pm to 16pm.

The inauguration is part of the broader framework of the agreement that the Administration has signed with commercial businesses such as tobacconists, newsstands and stationery bookstores - a total of 214 throughout Milan - which currently guarantee the provision of registry certificates.

Still with a view to decentralization and a city '15 minutes away', a pilot project has started in recent days in the headquarters of the decentralized registry office of San Siro, closed for about two years. Almost 200 square meters of surface area in via Paravia 26 from where a campaign to listen to the area began which will continue throughout the month of May and June, with the aim of reopening the headquarters by autumn, in a formula of everything new.

Once the map of the needs of the neighborhood and of the citizens who live there have been built - who can go to Via Paravia on Monday morning and Wednesday afternoon to meet representatives of the municipal and municipal administration - the fate of the headquarters will be decided.

At the end of the listening campaign, which will involve not only the citizens but also the local association network, and the opening of a round table which will involve various Departments, the objective is to move towards the opening of a real "multi-service hub" , that is, a space where it will be possible not only to redo your identity card or request a certificate, but also to find career guidance, support in enrolling in educational services or help for foreigners.

An experiment, that of San Siro, which we want to slowly start in other locations and other neighborhoods.
