Sindaco Sala e assessore Galimberti e Tajani a confronto con i Segretari confederali

Milan, July 23 2020 - Questa mattina il Sindaco Giuseppe Sala ha incontrato a Palazzo Marino i Segretari confederali di CGIL, CISL e UIL, per discutere in maniera condivisa scenari e prospettive della ripresa a settembre dei servizi educativi dell'infanzia, tema cruciale, pur nei vincoli imposti dal protrarsi dell’emergenza Covid, per sostenere la ripartenza della città e assicurare ai bambini e alle bambine l’accesso ai percorsi educativi in presenza e di socializzazione a lungo sospesi.

Presenti al tavolo l’assessora all’Educazione e Istruzione Laura Galimberti e l’assessora alle Risorse umane Cristina Tajani, Massimo Bonini, Segretario generale CGIL Milano, Vincenzo Cesare, Segretario regionale UIL Milano Lombardia, Carlo Gerla, Segretario generale CISL Milano.

Staffing, space management and safety procedures are the three issues discussed at the table to allow access to services to all 30 thousand children welcomed every year in nursery schools and municipal nurseries.

Over 900 educational profiles have been hired since the beginning of the mandate, allowing for the renewal of 30% of the workforce; another 100 are in the pipeline for September drawing from existing rankings, while the commitment to carrying out new competition procedures for the school continues. The commitment to resorting to hiring, even on a fixed-term basis, to manage the emergency phase in relation to the need to guarantee adequate attendance in relation to the number of children is also reiterated. If conditions dictate it, the Administration will be available to evaluate extraordinary interventions.

As regards spaces, the verification of capacity in compliance with distancing measures will soon be completed for each complex.

Infine sul tema delle regole di sicurezza e prevenzione, l’esperienza dei centri estivi, ancora in corso, che hanno accolto circa 1.700 bambini, ha consentito di sperimentare l’attuazione delle linee guida regionali e nazionali per l’emergenza Covid: procedure di accesso, dispositivi di protezione individuale, igienizzazione e sanificazione degli ambienti sono le misure che accoglieranno a settembre i bambini e le bambine milanesi e consentiranno a lavoratori e lavoratrici di svolgere in sicurezza la loro delicata funzione.
