Health. Ten days of events dedicated to disabilities

Milan, November 26 2019 – On the occasion of the Day of People with Disabilities, the Municipality of Milan launches ten days of initiatives – from 27 November to 6 December – dedicated to people with disabilities, Third Sector associations and groups of citizens who work every day to promote the their rights and well-being.

It starts on Wednesday 27 November at 9am with the workshop "Autism for a culture of inclusive services" which will be held at Palazzo Reale until 16pm, thanks to the collaboration of the Uniti per l'autism committee. Thursday 28th, at 17pm, at the Pinacoteca di Brera it will be the turn of "ArtisticaMente: descriVedendo i masterpiecei di Brera", a guided tour to discover three works preserved in the art gallery adopting an approach aimed at creating a bridge between people with visual disabilities and the visually impaired, putting painting at the center as an opportunity for inclusive meeting and dialogue. 

The DescriVedendo project will also return in the following days: on the 29th at Casa Boschi di Stefano with the hunt for the artistic treasures of the house, on November 30th and December 1st at the Diocesan museum with the guided tour of "The Adoration of the Magi" by Artemisia Gentileschi and on 5 December at the Sforzesco Castle with the tactile visit to the Museum of Ancient Art and the guided tour of the Sala delle Asse and the Vegetal Pavilion. 

On 3 and 4 December from 10am to 18pm it will be the turn of the theater and music workshops in the city centers at the Bruno Munari theater in via Bovio. Finally, on 6 December it will end with the conference "Places of services: comparing ideas for new responses" which will be held at Palazzo Reale starting from 9am.
