Milan, June 15 2022 - Tomorrow, Thursday 16 June, at 17 pm in the Hall of Honor of the Triennale di Milano, the municipal administration will award the four winners of the 'Reward your green' competition, green roofs and walls in the city, announced by the Municipality in support of a promotion campaign launched as part of the European Clever Cities project.

Three projects obtained the highest number of preferences through public voting, to which is added the one deemed worthy of special mention by the technical jury composed of Emilia Barone (representing the Clever Cities project), Mauro Belardi (representing Eliante), Maria Berrini (for Ambiente Italia), Matteo Fiori (representative of the Polytechnic of Milan) and Donatella Stergar (for the Municipality of Milan).

The winning interventions are “Open space in the vegetable garden”, a vegetable garden in the Isola district in via Porro Lambertenghi, “Community One” in the Precotto area in via Fratelli Bressan, “Vendemmiare a Milano”, in via Avezzana in the Corvetto area, and “Banchisa”, the new hanging garden created for the Iceberg pavilion of the San Raffaele hospital.

The first place winner from the popular jury will receive the FLOS outdoor lamp “In Vitro Unplugged”, 2020. Furthermore, as well as the creation awarded by the technical jury, up to a maximum of 5 thousand euros to support the maintenance of the green roof/wall for this year. The second place winner will receive up to a maximum of 3 thousand euros and the third place will receive up to 2 thousand.

The four winning creations will be published by Topscape Paysage, an international landscape architecture magazine, www.paysage.it
