Instruction. Registrations reopen for the CIA Manzoni

Milan, August 28 2019 – Registrations reopen on Monday 2 September for the training courses offered by the Alessandro Manzoni Civic Education Center for Adults and Adolescents (CIA), the school of the Municipality of Milan which offers preparation aimed at taking the exams – to be carried out at state or private schools – to recover years of studies (two years in one) and obtain the diploma through an abbreviated path. Registration remains open all year round.

In the 2018/2019 school year, the CIA welcomed 476 users (adolescents, young people and adults, workers and non-workers), who followed day and evening courses against school dropout. In fact, the school was created to support the training needs of that segment of the population which, for various reasons, does not find accommodation in state institutions.

The training courses proposed by the CIA are second level education with classes I-II (first period) and classes III-IV (second period) of the following addresses:

- Technical education: Administration, finance and marketing (evening, I and II period), Tourism (evening, I and II period), Construction, environment and territory (evening, I and II period) and Mechanics, mechatronics and energy (evening, I period);
- Professional education: Social and health services (daytime, I period and class III, and evening, I and II period) and commercial services (daytime, I period).

Pre-registration takes place through an interview led by a teacher, at the CIA Manzoni headquarters in via Deledda 11:

  • day courses: by appointment, tel. 02 884 67500, Monday-Friday, from 9am to 30pm;
  • evening courses: without appointment, Monday-Friday, from 17pm to 20pm (info from 15pm to 20pm on the number 02 884 46217).

For the 2019/2020 school year the registration fee is 284 euros.
