The results of the exploratory investigation launched by the Administration will constitute the reference element for carrying out the subsequent public phase of identifying the future manager, as well as the best methods for managing the properties following the redevelopment interventions.

“The neighborhood needs spaces for sociality and aggregation, especially aimed at young people, capable of encouraging being together and counteracting phenomena of marginalization, with a view to being a city 15 minutes away – declares the councilor for Urban Planning Pierfrancesco Maran - . For this reason we want to proceed as soon as possible with the identification of concrete proposals and subsequently of subjects who can revive the spaces of the barracks as soon as they are available to the Administration, so that they can collaborate with the operator right from the planning phase of the renovation of the spaces, and then take over their management".

“With this public notice – comments the councilor for Labor Policies, Productive Activities and Commerce, Cristina Tajani – we continue in our plan to redefine the city and its spaces, making an additional 11.600 square meters available to the inhabitants of the Suzzani district in sign of formation and aggregation. We are convinced that the space of the former Mameli barracks, through significant collaboration between public and private entities, can take on a new dimension aimed at the development of training and commercial activities as well as start-ups capable of combining the different creative, productive and technological souls present in the neighborhood."
