TRIBUTE project. The new online platform has been adopted, a dynamic tool to facilitate exchanges between project partners

Integrated and innovative actions for sustainable Urban mobility upgrade

Milan, 31 December 2021 – At the end of the second "project period", the TRIBUTE consortium completed several activities, including the adoption of the TRIBUTE knowledge platform, as an essential tool for a complete implementation of the project. In fact, due to travel restrictions and limitations on in-person meetings imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, TRIBUTE found the need to adopt a dynamic and interactive web tool to facilitate exchanges between project partners. The solution was found in the EUSAIR Stakeholder platform (ESP), managed by the Marche Region, Italian project partner of the Interreg ADRION program, as well as EUSAIR Facility point.

ESP was adopted as a TRIBUTE knowledge platform and has so far been used for organizing online meetings between project partners, with the exception of the Municipality of Milan which has already tested it for the first meeting with stakeholders. Looking ahead, the TRIBUTE knowledge platform will be used by all partners to share the results of the pilot actions and to exchange good practices with stakeholders, participating in the TRIBUTE living labs. The platform will offer both functional and technical features for stakeholder interaction and information sharing. This form of bilateral partnership between EUSAIR Facility point and TRIBUTE represents an added value for the Interreg ADRION Programme, achieved through the interweaving of two Interreg projects.

Regarding the main activities of the project, most TRIBUTE partners have launched their own Living labs. Novi Sad successfully organized 6 meetings with stakeholders. The Municipality of Milan held the kick-off meeting with shared mobility operators at the beginning of December. The cities of Ljubljana and Maribor have scheduled their kick-off meetings separately for mid-December, while other project partners (Zagreb, Sarajevo, Podgorica and Patras) are planning to launch their living lab activities in early 2022.

The methodology for the TRIBUTE Action plan was recently finalized by the Municipality of Milan, including a common framework for the implementation of several pilot actions, consistent with the program defined by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) for the cities that implement it have adopted, and the Sustainable Mobility Urban Plan (SUMP) of all partner cities, together with other city mobility projects. Subsequently, the effectiveness of the Living lab approach will be evaluated, in order to also be adopted for other urban mobility projects.
