Presidency of the municipal council. No events with far-right books or guests at Palazzo Marino
Milan, May 10 2022 – No meetings with guests or presentations of books published by far-right groups. What has been said about an event in Sala Alessi that the Municipality has authorized for May 13th and which would see the presentation of a book published by a far-right publishing house and the presence of guests belonging to that political area is denied.
What is apparently circulating does not correspond to the event authorized by the Office of the President of the Municipal Council, which instead includes among the guests - at the request of a council group - only historians, teachers and Istrian exiles.
This Administration does not take anti-fascism lessons from anyone and does not allow ambiguity on the part of centre-right councilors regarding what was established in the Office of the President, and therefore authorized, and what was then circulated or disseminated among citizens.
Thus the Presidency of the Milan City Council.
