The installation of the defibrillators donated by the In campo con il cuore project, which are added to those already installed at Palazzo Reale, Castello Sforzesco, Museo della Permanente 

Milan, July 28 2021 - After the Royal Palace, the Sforzesco Castle and the Permanente Museum, the PAC, Pavilion of Contemporary Art, and the MUDEC - Museum of Cultures also become cardio-protected places, thanks to the defibrillators donated by the "In campo con il Cuore" project. The installation of the AEDs (Automatic External Defibrillator) took place in the presence of the President of the City Council Lamberto Bertolè and the managers of the museums involved.  

“The excellent work done with the In campo con il cuore Association – said the president of the City Council Lamberto Bertolé – continues by making the most important places of Milanese culture safe and cardioprotected. We have supported this initiative in which we believe very much for a long time and with conviction. We all know how important first aid is and how decisive a defibrillator can be in saving a life." 

In Italy, cardiovascular diseases fatally affect approximately 60.000 Italians every year. The factors that positively affect the chances of survival of victims are strictly dependent on the early intervention and a rapid start of resuscitation maneuvers and the use of an AED is a necessary condition to save a person's life. 

The In campo con il cuore project, organized in collaboration with the Presidency of the Milan City Council, has the objective of making Milan, the Metropolitan City, a cardio-protected territory and spreading the importance among citizens and young people, in particular with initiatives sports. the importance of resuscitation and the use of the defibrillator. 

“Culture – said Gianfranco Fasan, President of the In campo con il Cuore Association – must be an extraordinary means of aggregation useful for raising awareness among visitors and all citizens on the importance of prevention, to allow the widest diffusion of resuscitation maneuvers and the defibrillator which remains an essential device for saving a life in the event of cardiac arrest."

From 2014 to today theAssociation In Campo con il Cuore, in collaboration with partner Iredeem, with Paolo Maldini and Ivan Capelli as testimonials, donated more than 32 defibrillators in the area. From the Royal Palace to the Sempione Park, from the Sforzesco Castle to the Municipalities of Milan and to many schools in the city.
