Milan, February 17 2021 – The officers of the local police of Milan will be busy in the nearby municipality of Bollate, a red zone from this evening after the discovery of the presence of the English variant of Coronavirus in some city schools.

This afternoon at Palazzo Marino An extraordinary council was held to decide on the transfer of the cast iron workers who will support their colleagues from Bologna, as requested by Mayor Francesco Vassallo during today's Public Order and Safety Committee.

“We immediately responded to the request from Bollate, which is in an emergency, by providing our operators - declares deputy mayor Anna Scavuzzo -. We need to work together by keeping the institutions together, only in this way can we tackle the fight against the virus. The local police operators, six per day divided into two shifts, will mainly be employed in checking the obligations established by law for public and commercial establishments.
