Milan, 13 May 2022 – The officers of the local police command of Municipality 3, on patrol on the evening of last Wednesday 11 May, intervened in viale Monza during the theft against a citizen who was withdrawing from the ATM of an institution credit at house number 136. The officers arrested a 22-year-old woman of Peruvian nationality in flagrante delicto for the crimes referred to in article 624 and 625 of the penal code.

The citizen was withdrawing money at the counter when he felt a hand tap on his shoulder; when he turned he saw a young woman quickly take possession of the banknotes that had just come out of the slot and was about to also take the card. The citizen managed to stop her, dropping money and ATM cards, while the accomplices to the theft fled.

Some passers-by then attracted the attention of the policemen on patrol who, who intervened immediately, stopped the young woman and proceeded to formalize the arrest by taking her to the Central Office for Arrests and Detentions (UCAF) in Via Custodi. The arrest was validated with signature requirement by the judicial authority.
