Milan, February 20 2020 – Three operations by the food supply unit of the local police in Milan have led in recent days to the notification of the suspension of the activity of three minimarkets between via Padova and piazzale Gabriele Rosa for the sale of take-away alcoholic beverages at prohibited times (between midnight and six) and to raise around 40 thousand euros in fines to public businesses and car shops.

Specifically, the owners of the three closed neighborhood shops had already been sanctioned in recent months for the same violation and for this reason the Prefecture of Milan ordered the suspension of the activity, in two cases for a week and in one case for two weeks.

Last weekend's operations instead led to the seizure in Viale Brianza of a car shop for itinerant trade lasting more than two hours (1.000 euros) and for the use of LPG cylinders (fine of 15.000 euros); to the fine of over one thousand euros to a public establishment in via Romilli for violating a sound ban provision; to the complaint to the judicial authority for the owner of a bar in Viale Monte Grappa for having sold alcohol to minors under 16 years of age, in addition to the fine of 666 euros for selling to minors under 18 years of age; to the investigation of three administrative violations, for a total of over 1.600 euros, at a premises in Piazza XXV Aprile, for unauthorized occupation of public land and for failure to display the alcohol meter and price table.

On Saturday, two car shops in Piazza Stuparich were also checked: in one case administrative fines were imposed for a total of 3.000 euros; in the other, the vehicle was requested to be removed for safety reasons: the owner was accused of violating the safety regulations on the use of LPG cylinders for 15.000 euros.
