Polizia locale.

On January 16, around 16 pm, three Italian boys between 25 and 30 years old approached the newsstand, pretending to be interested in the goods on display. Two of them had distracted the manager by asking him to go outside to show some items, while the third had entered the back of the kiosk to take the proceeds.

The manager, suspicious of the gym bags they were carrying over their shoulders, having already seen the same kids wandering around the center selling socks (kept in the bags) in the previous days, immediately noticed the third person entering the back and thus managed to avoid the theft of the proceeds, but suffered a beating and the devastation of the kiosk, carried out by the two 'poles' to facilitate the accomplice's escape.

Thanks to the descriptions of the victim, the help of the cameras in the area and the local knowledge of the local police officers operating in Piazza Duomo, it was possible to trace the perpetrators of the crime, discovering that they were staying in an apartment rented by the day in Via Mazzini, where the twenty-three-year-old SC, perpetrator of the attempted theft, was found and arrested. The two accomplices are currently wanted.

The other two arrests made by the local police in recent days resulted from checks in the area. The arrest dates back to Friday 15 January which allowed a 30-year-old boy of Romanian origins to be brought to justice, who was wanted for a prison order issued by the Brescia Prosecutor's Office, with a sentence of 9 years and 8 months to be served for a series of burglaries in apartments. Stopped in the car for a normal check in via Varsavia at the intersection with via Monte Cimono, the man handed over his driving license and an identity card valid for travel abroad to the agents of the Decentralized Command 1, which did not comply with the recognized models , as also confirmed by the subsequent assessment by the False Documents Unit of the local police.

Finally, the arrest of a man of North African origins who had stolen the mobile phone of a citizen of Chinese origins shortly before took place on the night between 18 and 19 January. During a patrol in via Pirelli, the local police officers noticed a boy quickly walking away in the direction of via Fabio Filzi and shortly afterwards another man who indicated him as the perpetrator of a theft he had just suffered. The subject was arrested for improper robbery, while the victim's cell phone was found in a trash bin, along with a knife.
