Local police. Three arrests and over a kilo of narcotics seized

Milan, June 20 2020 - Nine hundred grams of hashish and 200 grams of heroin. This is the amount of narcotic substances seized by the local police of Milan in two separate operations which led to the arrest of three people.

The first intervention resulted from a plainclothes garrison of the territory, aimed at the prevention and repression of petty crime crimes. The agents of the Narcotics Control Unit noticed a man leaving and returning several times in a short time from a building in the Dergano area and, suspicious of his frenetic and cautious behaviour, they decided to stop him for a check: the man of Moroccan origins (HB, 55 years old) hid two cellophane wrappers containing 12 grams of hashish under his hat.

The search therefore continued inside the apartment to which the man had the keys and where another 900 grams of hashish were found (corresponding to over 5.300 doses), divided into 9 blocks and hidden in a bag inside a piece of furniture. About 10 grams of cocaine, 1 of marijuana, cutting substances and packaging equipment were also found in the house. The man was therefore arrested, while the substances and banknotes found (140 euros) were seized.

The second important operation of the Drug Enforcement Unit was born from a report. Thanks also to the collaboration of the local police of Colturano, a municipality south of Milan, two men of Moroccan origins (RJ, 41 years old, and AM, 45 years old) were arrested while they were transporting more than a hectare of cocaine to the Rogoredo area. The intervention was started by a report received by the local police officers in Milan, referring to a car that often drove around the area to make drug deliveries. Through an inspection in the municipality of origin, the officers managed to identify the reported vehicle (a Citroën Berlingo), which was then stopped the following day in via Marochetti, in Milan.

Having stopped the car for a normal police check, it immediately became apparent that the central rear seat cover was not perfectly fastened: inside, hidden in the foam, the officers found a cellophane wrapper with 106,7 grams of heroin. Being aware of the residence of the two men, the officers proceeded with a house search, where they found the documents of both and several tickets with marked notes and numbers associated with contacts, which presumably indicated grams (never less than 50) and digits to be paid.

The intervention of the Canine Unit of the Local Police of Milan was also requested which, by inspecting the garden in front of the house, allowed another 107 grams of heroin to be found under a stone and partially buried. All the material, including three cell phones found inside the car and the vehicle itself were seized.
