In the last week the Food Unit has also closed three private clubs and suspended the activities of a restaurant and a butcher's shop due to violations of anti-Covid regulations

Milan, November 12 2020 – Two stalls inside the weekly open-air market in via Segneri were seized by the Food Unit of the local police in Milan.

The seizure for confiscation purposes was necessary because they were operating in a public area without authorization, previously suspended, selling fruit and vegetables. Approximately 800 kilos of recovered goods, with a commercial value of approximately 3.500 euros, which were donated to the Pane Daily ONLUS association.

In recent days, the Annonaria Unit has also closed three private clubs (in the Vigentino, Navigli and Viale Monza areas), where activities continued despite the obligation to close based on anti-Covid regulations.

The activities of a restaurant behind Piazza Duomo were also suspended for 5 days - where 18 people were found intent on consuming drinks and food - and of a butcher's shop in Via Padova, repeat violations of the Prime Ministerial Decree for gatherings inside and for failure to display signs with the maximum capacity. The owner of the latter was also reported for failing to comply with a previous suspension of the business.
