Milan, January 26 2023 – On Tuesday morning the agents of the Predatory Crimes Unit of the local police, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Milan - VII Department, arrested three men in flagrante delicto responsible for multiple aggravated theft in conspiracy against a lorry driver who was carrying out deliveries of goods of value in the shops in the Montenapoleone area. The arrest was validated by the judge who in the immediate hearing ordered the precautionary measure of prison for all three.

The officers stopped the three men, a 60-year-old Chilean and two Peruvians aged 38 and 37 respectively, all with precedents for similar crimes, in via Melzi d'Eril around 10.30 am, while they were fleeing in a van after having committed a theft. Inside the vehicle they found stolen goods worth approximately 100.000 euros; clothing, tablets and other electronic instruments, watches and other all-branded merchandise - Gucci, Montblanc, Apple, Moncler, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Armani - destined for the shops located in the fashion district and at Rinascente.

The theft had occurred shortly before, in via San Pietro all'Orto when a delivery van had stopped to unload some of the goods and the three thieves had surrounded it, taking bags and boxes from the shippers and loading them onto another van already ready for delivery. escape but fortunately immediately intercepted by local police officers.

During the subsequent inspection at the home of one of the three, designer glasses, medical devices, uniforms of various couriers as well as checks and a quantity of cocaine for personal use were found and seized.
