Local police. Operation 'License for All': 5 suspects and a former driving school seized

Milan, January 31 2020 – The operation by the local police which led to the preventive seizure of a former driving school in Milan, to searches in other municipalities in Lombardy and Veneto and to the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office to investigate has been named 'License for All' 5 people for criminal association and for the crime of "Repression of the false attribution of the work of others by aspirants to the award of degrees, diplomas, offices, titles and public dignities" (art. 2 of law no. 475 of 1925), for the purpose of obtaining a driving license. 
 
The investigation, coordinated by the Deputy Public Prosecutor Cristiana Roveda, began with the discovery by local police officers of the Decentralized Command 8 - while supervising the theoretical exam sessions for the driving license at the Milan Civil Motorization Office - of technological equipment hidden on some candidates. 
 
More details will be provided today at a press conference, at 14.30 pm, in the Martyrs' Hall of the local police headquarters in via Beccaria. The Commander of the local Police Marco Ciacci, the Chief Commissioner of the Decentralized Command 8 Nicoletta Cappellini and the Deputy Commissioner of the Territorial Problems Unit Giovanni Forestieri will be present.
