Local police. The first 15 new hybrid cars are on the road: soon there will be 100 to renew the fleet
Milan, 1 February 2021 – The first 15 new hybrid cars of the local police of Milan arrived today. Overall, 100 vehicles will be replaced by the end of the month, of which 20 are equipped with a safety capsule for the transport of people under arrest.
“We have made a choice that combines functionality, innovation and respect for the environment, we are gradually abandoning diesel-powered vehicles in favor of more sustainable models – declare the Commander of the local Police Marco Ciacci and the Deputy Mayor Anna Scavuzzo –. The new cars are suited to the operational needs of the officers, equipped with all the technological resources essential for carrying out the activities of the Local Police and, at the same time, compatible with attention to environmental sustainability".
