Local police. Two arrests for cocaine dealing, over 3 and a half hectograms seized

Milan, May 12 2020 – Two important arrests for cocaine dealing were made by the local police narcotics unit in recent weeks, for a total of 356 grams seized, as well as 5.400 euros in cash.

The first arrest took place on April 17 in Piazzale Cuoco. A 43-year-old Italian citizen of Albanian origins (A.M.) was stopped while traveling from Cologno Monzese to Milan by taxi, a method he used daily to evade road checks: he had 3 cellophane wrappers on him with almost 35 grams of cocaine.

From the subsequent house search, another 213 grams of cocaine were found, divided into 5 other wrappers hidden inside a jar, 4.500 euros in cash, 3 cell phones and a precision scale.

The second arrest, carried out on May 5, involved a 45-year-old Italian citizen and was carried out following a house search. Inside the apartment in the Affori area, 16 cellophane wrappers for a total of 108 grams of cocaine were found hidden under a shelf in a closet.

Furthermore, three precision scales, 260 euros in cash divided into different denominations and a further cellophane sachet with another 0.42 grams of the same substance were found in the bedroom. Several conversations relating to drug dealing were also found on the mobile phone.
