Fines of over 9 thousand euros and for violation of trade regulations and administration of alcohol to minors and out of hours


Milan, November 23 2019 - The Food and Commercial Unit of the Local Police seized two stalls for itinerant sales in Darsena last night due to lack of compliance with trade regulations and a street food stall for selling alcohol to minors and after midnight. Fines of over 9 thousand euros were issued.

The intervention scheduled last night was decided after a series of checks that took place starting this summer in the Darsena area. On this occasion, the vehicles were also alerted to proceed with the seizure, in case sales or street food stalls were found that did not comply with the regulations, i.e. the rotation every two hours and the distance of 250 meters between one and the other.

In the checks carried out, it was found that a traveling sales stall had not changed its place after two hours, while another had positioned itself without respecting the minimum distance of 250 meters from the other stalls. In addition to the seizure, both were fined one thousand euros.

In the third case, however, a street food stall found selling alcohol to minors and after midnight was seized. For these violations the sanctions were 7 thousand 337 euros.

“The Local Police continues to monitor the territory - explained the deputy mayor Anna Scavuzzo - verifying compliance with the rules, sanctioning those activities that can damage the regularity of trade, with particular attention to those who sell alcohol to minors and at non-compliant times. permitted."
