Milan, October 3 2022 — The investigation by the Unit for the Protection of Women and Minors of the Local Police of Milan, against a man residing in Milan.
He was arrested by local police officers in execution of the precautionary measure of detention in prison ordered at the beginning of 2022 by the investigating judge of Milan, because he had repeatedly abused his stepdaughter for several years, starting when the child attended primary school.
In this case, the timeliness of the communication from the school and the consequent immediate intervention of the local police and the prosecutor's office with the related delicate investigations was of fundamental importance in putting an end to the suffering suffered by the minor, demonstrating the fact that the protection system of vulnerable victims worked well.
