Music, exhibitions and live shows at the historic municipal dormitory in Viale Ortles
Milan, October 4 2019 - The "exaggerated" show returns to Casa Jannacci, the ancient municipal dormitory in Viale Ortles 69. On Saturday 5 October, the largest and oldest publicly run facility for the homeless in Europe opens its doors to the city for an afternoon of celebration.
The program of the day, organized by the Municipality of Milan (which manages the structure in collaboration with the Spazio Aperto Servizi cooperative), is very varied and extensive and will take place in the pavilions and garden of Casa Jannacci in Viale Ortles 69: let's start (entrance from via Calabiana) at 14 pm with the performance of the “Unum” Choir of Casa Jannacci. From 30pm to 15pm it will be time for Zelig time, the famous television show that will land for a day in the courtyard of Viale Ortles. Entertaining guests with their comedy will be Davide Paniate, Federico Basso, Vincenzo Albano and Ippolita Baldini. At 17pm it will be the turn of a musical show with “Allegromoderato inband”, “Rusty flames” and “No singer band”. At 17pm the afternoon will end with a musical aperitif open to all with "Intesi come tram".
Throughout the day, exhibitions, games and entertainment for children will be open and available to citizens, as well as the exhibition of the work carried out at the socio-recreational and cultural centres. Smemoranda and many musicians and artists friends of the House of Hospitality collaborated in organizing the afternoon.
The councilor for social and housing policies Gabriele Rabaiotti will also attend the party at 16 pm.
