Milan, September 28 2019 –Sunday 29 September, at 10 am, the councilor for social and housing policies Gabriele Rabaiotti will participate in the “Mi agGreco” initiative, an event organized in collaboration with the inhabitants and associations of the Greco neighborhood and the Central Station Help Center (Casc ) at the conclusion of the “Sowing to r-accogliere” project, of which the Municipality of Milan was a partner of the Prefecture and whose main action was to structure training courses, followed by laboratory activities, aimed at volunteers, students, mediators and associations involved or potentially involved in the daily life of the guests of the reception centers (CAS and SPRAR), in order to pursue the strengthening of knowledge and relationship activities between the guests and the territory, through forms of participation, active citizenship and common care of the city.

The day will begin at 10am with the planting of a wisteria in the Goccia park donated by Fas (association for the valorisation of the Magazzini Raccordati and surrounding areas) and will continue with the presentation to the neighborhood of the new Casc structure in via Sammartini 120 by the operators . At 12 citizens and guests of the Siproimi center in via Stella 5 will collaborate in cleaning the street where the reception center is located. At 15pm it will be the turn of the games organized in the other Siproimi center in the area, the one in via Sammartini 75 and, finally, at 17pm there will be an aperitif and entertainment with the music of the Barboon band, a musical group made up of former users of the Casc at the shared vegetable garden in via Rho.
