Social policies. Tomorrow the collection of clothing for the homeless

Milan, January 17 2020 - Tomorrow, Saturday 18 January, from 9 am to 30 pm, the municipal administration, in collaboration with the third sector associations that contribute to the implementation of the cold plan, will organize a clothing collection aimed at all citizens . Eleven points will be set up throughout the city and in these places anyone will be able to deliver clothes, preferably winter ones and in good condition, to be donated to those who have no home and live on the streets or in shelters for the homeless.

The collection points will be set up at the following addresses: piazza XXIV Maggio/Porta Ticinese toll booths, piazza Argentina/via Mercadante, viale Papiniano/Cantore, via dei Cinquecento 7, piazzale Baiamonti, piazza Amendola, piazzale Baracca/via Toti, piazzale della Repubblica , via Pollini 4, piazza XXV Aprile, via Aldini 74.

“Like every year - declares the councilor for social and housing policies Gabriele Rabaiotti - we need the collaboration and solidarity of all the Milanese who on many occasions have proven truly generous in helping those who don't have a home. It is also thanks to them, as well as to the precious support of the Third Sector associations, that for several years Milan has been implementing one of the most comprehensive cold plans in Italy".
