It is a theatrical installation that offers the public an immersive and sensorial experience on the theme of the exploitation of prostitution and human trafficking to overturn perspectives and draw attention not only to the social aspect, but above all to the human one of a phenomenon that shows no signs of abating.

The installation, created as part of Derive e approdi 2019, a project to combat human trafficking and serious exploitation financed by the Department for Equal Opportunities of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of which the Municipality of Milan is the leader, has a lasting 45 minutes during which the audience, made up of twenty people at a time, will cross five different spaces and in each one will have a sensorial experience with the five performers (on stage Viola Branco, Giada Catone, Dalila Cozzolino, Chiara Crovetto and Ilaria Nardin ). “We are convinced – explains Carlo Compare, director of Nobody – that widespread ignorance on the topic of prostitution is one of the most important causes of the propagation of the phenomenon and therefore knowledge of the dynamics linked to it is the starting point of every campaign of awareness. However, the dissemination of information is not enough, but it is necessary to go through awareness campaigns that aim to offer their recipients a direct experience of the phenomenon. When dealing with such delicate topics, however, it is impossible to provide direct experiences to the public and therefore an artistic filter is necessary which we have identified in the sensorial journey".

The "Derive e landingi 2019" project is active in the areas of Milan, Como, Monza Brianza, Sondrio and Varese. In the first 6 months it established contacts in the metropolitan city of Milan with 895 potential victims of trafficking for the exploitation of prostitution and 227 potential victims of trafficking for the purposes of forced begging.
