Milan, October 25 2021 – The initiative of the municipal council begins today, in municipalities 4, 6 and 8, which will see councilors participate in the first sessions of the nine municipal councils.

The councilor for Economic Development and Labor Policies, Alessia Cappello, will be at Town Hall 19 at 4 pm; at the same time, the Municipal Council 8 will open its work in the presence of the councilor for civic services Gaia Romani. Roll call at 19pm for the Municipal Council 30, in which the Mobility councilor Arianna Censi will take part.

The Environment and Green Councilor Elena Grandi will be present tomorrow, Tuesday 26 October, at 19 pm, at the Municipal Council 1.

On Wednesday 27 October, at 20pm, the Council of Municipality 7 will take office in the presence of the councilor for Sport, Tourism and Youth Policies Martina Riva.
The calendar of the first meetings of the municipal councils ends on Thursday 28 October.

At 18 pm the councilor for Housing and Neighborhood Planning, Pierfrancesco Maran, will participate in the Council of Municipality 30. At 3 pm the councils of Municipality 19 will meet, with the councilor for Welfare and Health Lamberto Bertolé, and of Municipality 5, with the urban regeneration councilor Giancarlo Tancredi.

Last appointment at 20pm, at the Municipal Council 9, with the Security Councilor Marco Granelli. 
 
"It is a symbolic initiative – says the councilor for civic services with responsibility for decentralization policies Gaia Romani – but it testifies to a strong principle of this council: in designing and creating Milan in 15 minutes we will not look at the city from afar but through dialogue with the territory. And we believe that the municipalities are indispensable interlocutors to know it more and better, making it possible to strengthen services and develop the neighborhoods. We intend to have a direct line with them today with the participation of the councilors first sessions of the nine municipal councils".
