From Tuesday 27 September the new notice for the assignment of public housing will go live

Milan, September 22 2022 – The commitment of the Municipality of Milan continues to help citizens cope with the costs of real estate rentals. The disbursement of the "Rental Support" fund has begun, reserved for those who reside in Milan with a rental contract for at least 6 months and an ISEE of less than 26 thousand euros.
The contribution will be paid in order of score obtained. A total of 13.530 applications were deemed suitable and, in this first phase, 4.328 applications were verified which scored 11, 10, 9 and 8 points.

All tenants whose application has successfully passed the checks relating to this first phase have received a confirmation email on the outcome of the investigation and will be able to finalize the procedure to obtain a contribution of up to 3 thousand euros which will serve to cover a maximum of 8 monthly payments. The owner of the property to which the application is connected, after having received notification of the positive outcome of the procedure from the tenant, will have to complete a confirmation form to obtain credit of the allocated sum by 12pm on 26 September 2022 .

For this first phase, the disbursement of a total amount of 3,6 million euros between state and regional funds is expected. The second phase of disbursement will begin shortly for those who have scored 7 and 6 points, until the further 3,2 million euros still available are exhausted.

As regards the assignment of public housing, from Tuesday 27 September until 30 December, it will be possible to submit the assignment application for the units intended for Public Housing Services via the regional IT platform.
There are 430 immediately available apartments that will be assigned through the tender together with another 50 apartments with maintenance paid by the assignee which will be deducted from the rent.
