Milan, October 3 2020 - Tomorrow, Sunday 4 October, at 16pm the councilors Pierfrancesco Maran (Urban Planning), Marco Granelli (Mobility) and Lorenzo Lipparini (Participation) will intervene at the inauguration of via Toce, redeveloped with a tactical urban planning intervention as part of the "Squares" project Open". 
 
The intervention in recent weeks has seen the pedestrianization of the stretch between Via Cusio and the small park named after Bruno Munari with the installation of benches, picnic and ping pong tables. In recent days, the creation of an urban painting depicting an illustrated book on the pavement has begun, created with the use of over 2.000 stencils. The idea was born thanks to the "Collaboration Agreement" signed by the municipal administration with the Isola Neighborhood Committee, with Repubblica del Design, Comieco and Bit Factory and in collaboration with Ghigos and IDEAs. 
 
The afternoon includes a series of entertainment activities for the little ones organized by the cultural association Zona K. Other activities will be promoted by the volunteers of the Civil Protection, by the parent associations "Scuola Confalonieri" and "Scuola Govone" and Isola Libri who, together at the Milan Fencing Academy, Lotus Pocus, and at the "Aquile Azzurre" Table Tennis Association, will contribute in the coming months to making the square alive and animated.
