Since 2018, there have been one hundred civic agreements in the fields of urban care and regeneration  

Milan, September 29 2021 - What they are, how to propose them or participate, where they are found and who signed them: on one web page everything you need to know about the one hundred collaboration agreements signed in recent years by the Administration with active citizens, and on those futures.  

A new area of ​​the Municipality's institutional portal dedicated to civic agreements in the fields of urban care and regeneration, open squares, cleaning from vandalism and graffiti, the creation of shared gardens, social activities, and the valorisation of open data is online. and spiritual assistance. In fact, all those agreements between the Municipality and citizens which have allowed gardens, squares and urban spaces to be brought back to life.   

The latest one concerns the area under the Monteceneri Serra flyover, between Via Plana and Via Bartolini: it is called UnPark-Urban Nudging Park//FREESTYLE and is a project of the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies ( DAStU) of the Polytechnic of Milan, in collaboration with ARCI The commitment, which made it possible to transform a parking area into a container for social and cultural events, accessible for street sports and other socio-recreational activities, thanks also to a co-design action carried out with citizens. The Collaboration Agreements are good practices made possible by the synergy between the various departments involved and by the associative and active citizenship realities present in the area. In Milan they have been a reality since, in 2018, the municipal administration drew up the guidelines for the experimentation which then arrived, a year later, in the "Regulation on the discipline of the participation of active citizens in the care, shared management and regeneration of the Urban municipalities".  

To date, there are 57 collaboration agreements signed which concern 12 shared allotments and gardens, 28 tactical urban planning interventions, 5 on urban care and regeneration, 2 on the removal of graphic vandalism, 3 on sporting activities, 2 on cultural activities, 5 on other type. There are also 26 agreements in the works - between shared allotments and gardens (9), tactical urbanism (4), urban care and regeneration (12) and one of another type. Finally, seventeen are those suspended, i.e. for which the investigation phase has been started but not concluded. In total, therefore, one hundred collaboration agreements which, from the start of the experiment to today, have been managed by the relevant office of the Municipality of Milan, which citizens can contact to make proposals and obtain assistance.
