Over the course of three days, four highly topical areas of reflection will be explored through meetings, workshops, conferences, debates and round tables:

1. Digitalization of the democratic process: How do information technologies influence the choice of the political agenda? How is consensus formed in the age of new media? To what extent does the boundless availability of information online produce distorting effects? How does politics adapt and respond to these trends?

2. Economy and Business: Why does the "Italian System" struggle, despite the presence of dynamic entrepreneurship on international markets? What could be the key to greater international competitiveness?

3. Community and Territory: Can some local community initiatives prove to be virtuous models to be replicated on a national scale? How and to what extent can the comparison with the territories help politics to intercept (and satisfy) the needs of civil society?

4. City and Politics: How can politics stimulate and aggregate the inhabitants of urban spaces, places where most experiences of social activism are concentrated? What are the tools of participatory democracy in Italy and abroad?

"Milan participates at night"
To celebrate this moment of aggregation and activation, 'milano partecipa' invites all citizens to 'milano partecipa dinotte', a free evening of music and entertainment and a tribute to the city through its artists.

On November 23rd at 21pm at the Visconti Pavilion Teatro alla Scala there will be alternating drum moments with Christian Meyer, the drummer of Elio e le Storie Tese, the violin of Federico Mecozzi, the voice of Niccolò Agliardi, author of the soundtrack of the Braccialetti Rossi series, and the trap of the young Milanese Matteo Professione, aka Ernia. On stage with them Petra Loreggian, Eleonora Giovanardi, Sarah Maestri and Gino and Michele.
