Milan, February 17 2023 – In view of the opening of the week in which high fashion is the protagonist with fashion shows, catwalks and the many events of the Milan Fashion Week, a Palazzo Marino there is also space for "L'altra moda", an initiative dedicated to inclusion and accessibility, organized by the vice-president of the City Council Roberta Osculati in collaboration with operators in the sector.

The appointment is for tomorrow, Saturday 18 February, from 9 to 30, in the Alessi Hall of Palazzo Marino.

The aim of the conference, thanks to the many interventions of the guests present, is to emphasize adaptive and inclusive fashion, in the garments it proposes and creates and also in the places where they are shown and sold. The intent is to raise attention on a way of doing fashion that increasingly puts the person at the centre, in particular men and women with disabilities, to allow people to consciously choose which garments to wear, not only because they are practical and functional, but also because they are beautiful and trendy and to make shops, dressing rooms and ateliers increasingly accessible.

The following will participate in the event: the Councilor for Economic Development with delegations to Fashion and Design Alessia Cappello and Giuseppe Arconzo, Delegate of the Mayor of the Municipality of Milan for accessibility policies, Davide Caocci, President of AFI - Adaptive fashion Italy ETS, Diletta Cancellato, stylist, and Caterina Fumagalli, architect.
