Milan, July 21 2022 – Professor Giuseppe Arconzo is the new delegate for accessibility policies of the Municipality of Milan.

The role, which will last until the end of the mandate of the Mayor Giuseppe Sala and will be carried out free of charge, involves providing support to the Mayor's policy activities, with particular reference to verifying the implementation of the Plan for the Elimination of Architectural Barriers (PEBA) and of equal conditions in access to public spaces and services organized by the Administration, in close collaboration with all the departments involved, in particular with that of Welfare and Health.

Born in 1978, Arconzo has been an associate professor of constitutional law at the University of Milan since 2016, where he teaches Rights of people with disabilities and Regional and local authority law. He succeeds Lisa Noja, whose role as Delegate was conferred in September 2016.
