The city councilors will meet again virtually on Thursday 19th using a videoconferencing program tested in recent days with the help of the Municipality's Information Systems Directorate. The same program that already yesterday, Monday 16th, allowed the permanent table established by the Council and chaired by President Bertolé, which involves the Bureau, the group leaders, the deputy mayor Anna Scavuzzo and the budget councilor Roberto Tasca, to plan the activities of the next few weeks to address the situation.

"We have done everything to restore full political and administrative operations to the councilors as soon as possible and in maximum safety - declares the President of the Municipal Council Lamberto Bertolé -. And now we are able to do it. The council commissions and the work of the table of group leaders and councilors on the emergency, which we have reconvened for next Monday".

The activity of the Commissions restarts in line with the provisions of the new government provisions, which make it possible to meet councils, municipal and provincial councils, even electronically. Provisions that the Municipality of Milan had anticipated with a council resolution, with which last week the methods for bringing together the Mayor and councilors in a video conference were defined.

The calendar of commissions will then continue with Work, Security, Mobility, Culture and Prisons. The City Council meeting remains suspended for the moment.
