Palazzo Marino. The call for the Giorgio Ambrosoli degree prize has now opened

Aimed at young female and male graduates, researchers from Italian universities. Applications by June 5, 2024

Milan, 24 April 2024 - In memory of the lawyer Giorgio Ambrosoli, this year too the municipal administration has published the announcement for a degree prize dedicated to him worth 5 thousand euros, aimed at young female and male graduates, researchers from Italian universities.

Participants must have explored, in their master's or doctoral degree theses, the themes of ethics applied to economic activity, treating them in an essential way and with a specific personal, original and significant contribution. In particular, Master's or Doctoral theses must have as their subject one of the following topics: the first concerns corruption phenomena in the broadest sense, although not criminally prosecutable, which pollute economic life in the public and private sphere; the second is the relationship between the legal economy and the criminal economy, including those of a mafia nature, with all the implications of a legal, or economic-financial, or sociopolitical nature and preferably in an interdisciplinary perspective.

Candidates must have completed their degree or doctoral thesis between 1 March 2023 and 29 February 2024. The application to participate must be sent only by PEC (certified email) not necessarily addressed to the candidate. The deadline to submit the application is Wednesday 5 June. Together with the documentation, the applications must also include a short abstract (maximum 100 lines) of the thesis.
