Appointments. Silvio Premoli new Guarantor of rights for children and adolescents
From Mayor Sala a letter to the outgoing guarantor Caruso to thank her for the work carried out in the interest of children and young people in Milan
Milan, July 22 2020 - The Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala has appointed the new Guarantor of children's and adolescents' rights. For the next five years, the role will be carried out by Silvio Premoli, researcher in general and social pedagogy at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart since 2013.
Educator, pedagogical coordinator and manager of socio-educational services aimed at vulnerable children and adolescents in the world of the third sector and social cooperation, in his university teaching and training activities aimed at education professionals Premoli promotes an approach based on children's rights. Furthermore, in 2015-2016, it supported the Early Childhood Educational Services Directorate of the Municipality of Milan in the drafting of the new pedagogical guidelines for childcare services for 0-6 year olds.
Silvio Premoli succeeds Anna Maria Caruso in the role of Guarantor, whom Mayor Sala made a point of thanking with a letter "for the work carried out in recent years in the interest of the children and young people of Milan", thus providing a precious contribution to the Municipal administration.
Premoli's appointment follows the "Call for the submission of candidatures for the appointment of the Guarantor of children's and adolescents' rights of the Municipality of Milan".
