From 18 to 22 June online events and fashion shows will bring the city to life in the name of masculine elegance 

Milan, May 25 2021 – The Milan Fashion Week Men's Collection, scheduled from 18 to 22 June 2021, marks a gradual return to normality in the city through a hybrid formula that includes physical and digital events.

Men's fashion week includes 48 appointments, 10 presentations by appointment and 5 events for a total of 63 brands on the calendar. Four in-person fashion shows: Dolce & Gabbana on 19 June, Etro on 20 June and Giorgio Armani on 21 June with a double fashion show.

"On the occasion of this edition, dedicated to men's fashion, the joint commitment of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion and the Municipality of Milan is renewed in implementing a cautious but constant path towards a rediscovered normality of fashion in the city, after the emergency Covid - declares the councilor for Commerce, Fashion and Design Cristina Tajani -. A path made possible thanks to the constant attention to the safety of guests and operators but above all thanks to the creation of a rich calendar that combines maison, attention to sustainability and promotion of many artisan realities that distinguish our Made in Italy. A manufacturing and creativity that will be told through many digital and live events, which demonstrate how it is essential to invest in digital and new languages ​​but even more so in enhancing the manual skills and creativity of the our Italian know-how".

"We are approaching this new fashion week with a positive and optimistic attitude. The fact that the government has accepted our requests posed during the MISE textile and fashion table, authorizing the holding of in-person fairs from 15 June, has allowed to confirm the dates of Milano Moda men, giving an important signal of restart. It is a positive signal that gives us the opportunity to organize a fashion week not only digitally but also with in-person events system that will be able to start traveling again as early as June, also giving the possibility of carrying out swabs for the press and accredited buyers - comments Carlo Capasa, President of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion - at our side as an institutional partner, with whom we share a great attention to issues such as sustainability, inclusion and diversity, values ​​increasingly represented in our city. Thanks to the fruitful cooperation with Confartigianato, we also continue to give ever greater prominence to the precious artisan component that characterizes the Italian fashion system. I also thank ICE-Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their continuous support in the implementation and promotion of our initiatives".

This edition of the Milan Fashion week, organized in collaboration with Confartigianato Imprese and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and of ICE-Agenzia and the Municipality of Milan, once again demonstrates the continuous attention of the National Chamber of Fashion Italian towards issues of global relevance, including sustainability and support for young talents, through a proposal of highly relevant projects.

During the Fashion week, a WHITE project will be presented, with the WSM (White sustainable Milan) format, in collaboration with the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, to concretely support the new generations of creatives. White will activate a donation to the Camera Moda fashion trust and will promote, through a dedicated event in the spaces of Fondazione Sozzani Tazzoli Milano, which will remain open during the days of men's fashion week, ten Italian and international designers (Froy, Lessico Familiare, Mishimi, Oh Carla , Gin Salemo', Bayria Eyewear, Kids Of Broken Future, Marcello Pipitone, Simon Cracker and Zerobarracento), the last five selected by CNMI among the participants in the Designer for the planet project.

The events of the Milan Fashion Week Men's collection will be amplified throughout the world, thus covering all time zones at the same time, thanks to prestigious international partners: Kommersant publishing house for Russia; Tencent Video for Mainland China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan); The Asahi Shimbun for Japan; with the participation of The New York Times for the United States. While the Italian OOH streaming partner, Urban vision, will broadcast the contents through a giant screen positioned in the city.

With this collaboration in mind, the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, the Municipality of Milan and Yes Milano have created the new communication campaign to promote the Milan Fashion Week Men's collection.
