Fashion. Citadel of archives chosen as location for Fashion week
Milan, February 24 2021 – The transformation of the Citadel of Archives continues, which began in 2016 and is still underway.
The headquarters of the municipal archives in via Gregorovius 15 has constantly reinvented itself, becoming, over the years, an artistic and cultural hub and a reference for scholars, researchers and archivists. After successfully hosting exhibitions, artistic installations, conferences and cultural and scientific initiatives, the Citadel of the archives has become the chosen location for the first Del Core fashion show during fashion week.
The fashion house, founded in Milan by German designer Daniel Del Core, chose the Cittadella space for its debut, setting up the catwalk inside the multi-storey building.
A place far from the center but protagonist of its neighbourhood, Niguarda, which contributes to redeveloping and animating, where history, innovation, culture and now also Made in Italy high fashion meet.
