Mobility. Expiring parking, disabled and area B and C access passes have been extended until June 29th

Councilor Censi: "We remind citizens that all applications for mobility permits can be made online"

Milan, January 16 2022 – The municipal administration has extended until next June 29th (i.e. ninety days after the end of the state of emergency) the access and circulation permits in derogation to Area B and C - with the exception of daily or temporary permits -, the authorization titles to both residential and non-residential free parking, as well as access to preferential lanes, limited traffic zones and pedestrian areas, as well as parking signs for disabled people.

The decision was taken in compliance with the exceptional measures aimed at combating the spread of the COVID-19 infection and the offices will proceed with the renewal of expired licenses and all new releases in digital form, with the exception of parking permits for disabled people which will continue to be issued in paper format.

“The choice to extend the expiring passes – explains Mobility Councilor Arianna Censi – is in line with the need to limit travel and crowding at the counters to prevent and contain the epidemic. But facilitating access to the procedures for requesting documents is a commitment that the Administration has made over the last few years through digitalisation. In fact, there are numerous possibilities for submitting applications and acquiring permits through the citizen's file".

As regards mobility, applications for Area B permits are submitted online, for Area C the forms will also be sent via email, in addition to obviously payment via the website. From May it is also possible to submit the application for disabled passes online and then choose whether to have the permit delivered to your home or to the proposed office.
