Milan, August 8 2022 – Concessions for the purchase of annual ATM passes, including bike sharing and interchange parking, for employees of private companies, public bodies and trade associations. This is what the Council decided to facilitate and support the use of public transport.

The concessions translate into an economic contribution from the Municipality of Milan equal to 20% of the rate for an annual urban ATM subscription integrated with the railway service, to which other services can be added such as BikeMi bike sharing or the parking system exchanges managed by ATM.

For this initiative, approximately one million two hundred thousand euros have been allocated which will be available, until the funds are exhausted, for the purchase of annual mobility packages to be awarded to employees and collaborators of companies and other entities who will join or have already joined the system of purchases through companies, the so-called "key-account". Applications can be submitted by September 30, 2023.

In detail, a total of 1.237.500 euros are available, of which 257.000 allocated by the Municipality of Milan and the remaining 980.500 paid by the Ministry of Ecological Transition.

The initiative is part of the broader project of the Municipality of Milan "Mobility4MI" - co-financed by the Ministry of Ecological Transition, for a total amount of 4,9 million euros, of which 2,9 million are paid by the Ministry and 2 million by the Municipality of Milan - with which some projects have already been implemented, including the Pedibus initiative, which provides safe walking routes for children going to school.
