Milan, June 20 2022 – The Taxi Voucher will be reactivated on June 21st, the benefit that allows people in economic or mobility difficulties to use the public car service for travel by taxi or rental with driver (NCC) with 100% coverage of the amount of the journey and up to a maximum of 20 euros, for a total of 200 euros per voucher issued. Possibly renewable, until funds run out. 

Citizens residing in Milan aged 65 or over, pregnant women, people suffering from illnesses requiring continuous treatment, those with reduced physical mobility, with confirmed pathologies, even temporary, and those subject to to life-saving therapies.  

Added to this list are people belonging to families most exposed to the economic effects deriving from the epidemiological emergency and all citizens in need, with an ISEE equal to or less than 28 thousand euros and people who are unemployed or on redundancy pay. For everyone, the benefit is valid even if accompanied. 
 
For those who have already registered on the Municipality's platform, you can top up your vouchers here link, new users will need to pre-register for the service via online platform, releasing their personal data and self-certifying their belonging to one of the categories benefiting from the benefit.  

Anyone who had a residual credit from the previous initiative will be able to use it this year too. 

The user will receive an activation confirmation and when they want to use the benefit it will be sufficient to show the health card to the taxi driver who has joined the initiative, who, thanks to the app already downloaded on the mobile phone, will enter the user's tax code for the check the cost of the trip at the end of the trip. 

Taxi drivers who wish to join those who have already done so must download the "BuoniviaggioMI" app on their mobile phone, developed by Telepass with the Municipality of Milan. The system automatically calculates any amount borne by the citizen who will proceed with immediate payment, while the remaining part will be credited directly to the taxi driver by the Municipality of Milan. 
There are 3.005 taxi drivers who have so far joined the initiative by downloading the app and registering for the service. There are 5.011 beneficiaries who have used the service at least once, for a total of 50.106 total trips.
