Mobility. ATM subscriptions, from Monday refunds will begin for the monthly payments not used during the lockdown

Milan, August 8 2020 – Starting from Monday 10 August the possibility for ATM subscribers to request compensatory refunds for unused monthly payments due to the lockdown. Applications can be submitted on the company website and the section dedicated to compensation will also be accessible through the Atm Milano App. 
“A commitment that we had made with citizens forced home by the pandemic - comments Marco Granelli, councilor for Mobility -, which required a great deal of work and a considerable effort on the part of the Administration, and the use of considerable economic resources of which made available by the Government, at a time in which the company has managed to constantly guarantee an essential service such as that of local transport". 
 
WHO IS ENTITLED TO COMPENSATION  
Customers who have not used the monthly pass for March and all those who have not used the annual pass in the months of March and April 2020 can request it, as long as they are travel tickets purchased through the ATM sales channels ( website, ATM Point, vending machines, retailers and newsstands). 
Requests can be made until 31 October 2020 while the compensatory monthly payments can be used until December 2021, by selecting the months in which to use them. 
 
HOW IT WORKS 
The procedure is simple, fast, and free: just connect to the dedicated section on the ATM website, enter your card number, tax code and email and select the months in which you want to use the compensatory monthly payment. It will then be necessary to complete the procedure by going, starting from the day after the request, to the totems present in all 113 metro stations and holding the card close to the screen to activate the season ticket. 
For TrenoMilano passes purchased at Atm, as these are integrated tickets that cannot be activated at the totems, it will be necessary to request at the Atm Points, booking your appointment directly from the Atm Milano App. Compensation for monthly and annual passes issued by operators other than ATM must be requested from the company where the travel ticket was purchased.
