Milan, May 31 2021 – From today it is published on the website of the Municipality of Milan georeferenced map of the Milan Summer school, an initiative of the Administration to collect the city's offer of recreational activities dedicated to girls and boys, girls and boys in Milan during the summer months.

In fact, last May 14th thepublic notice to collect memberships from private individuals who intend to organize summer camps for minors aged between 0 and 14 in the months of June, July, August and September. The offer catalog can now be consulted by interested families who will be able to identify the initiatives which, in terms of proposal, interest and location, best meet their needs.

The programme, which will be gradually expanded, includes public and private initiatives. From those organized directly by the Municipality of Milan at the school premises and its holiday homes (one thousand places available) to those created by private operators concessionaires of municipal sports facilities or cultural and social facilities; those put in place by public and private educational, cultural and sporting entities, by oratories and other private institutions that request them will arrive; then there will be the offer of Milanosport at three of its sports centers - Lido, Saini and Iseo - which will open their doors from 14 June to host, in partnership with the Italian Sports Center (CSI), campuses during which children and teenagers will be able to try their hand at in group games, workshops, recreational activities and different types of sports such as five-a-side football, hockey, volleyball, athletics, archery, swimming, basketball, handball, rugby, baseball and tennis (with two time slots, from 8am to 30pm and from 17am to 30pm, to limit admissions and avoid crowds).

Adhere to summer school is simple: interested parties must complete the specific form available online on the institutional website of the Municipality of Milan, indicating the type of proposal offered, the methods of access and registration for the services, the location where they will take place and the age range for which They speak to. It is also necessary to have previous experience, in the last three years, in the organization and management of initiatives for children and young people.

The Municipality undertakes to promote the activities that will be included in the schedule with a communication campaign which, starting today, will be disseminated on the institutional website, social channels, digital screens, the newsletter, banners and posters. Also this year, the exceptional testimonial of the initiative will be Geronimo Stilton, the journalist mouse born from an idea of ​​Elisabetta Dami and published in Italy by Edizioni Piemme, who for years has been the protagonist of numerous educational projects.
