Milan, March 29 2022 – Milan remembers Ottavio Missoni and Fulvio Bracco, two great figures of Milanese entrepreneurship in the fields of fashion and the pharmaceutical industry, united by being Italians born between Dalmatia and Venezia Giulia, and having known the drama of a land of disputed and tormented border. The Municipality of Milan wanted them to be remembered by helping to create two events included in Milan is memory, the program of events created in 2017 to reflect and not forget moments and people who have marked the history of the city and our country.

This evening at the Missoni showroom, in via Solferino 9, the first of two events organized by the National Association Committee of Venezia Giulia and Dalmazia of Milan took place. The second, dedicated to Fulvio Bracco, will take place in June.

The councilor for Economic Development and Labor Policies, Alessia Cappello and the national President of ANVGD, Renzo Codarin, spoke at the event. Friends and acquaintances of Ottavio Missoni participated and recalled the many aspects of a man with an certainly extraordinary life: athlete, entrepreneur, artist, Dalmatian and Milanese exile. Among them: Fulvio Scaparro, Bruno Pizzul, Mariuccia Casadio, the Honorary Mayor, Franco Luxardo, and the Mayor, Toni Concina, of the Free Municipality of Zadar in Exile, the director of the Historical Museum Archive of Fiume, Marino Micich and Anna Maria Crasti, vice-president of ANVGD of Milan and exile from Vrsar.

Among the testimonies there is also an interview with his wife, Rosita Missoni, carried out by the videomaker Simone Pontini.
